How it works
From one application to a choice worth making
Three stages. The middle one is where the work is, and it is ours rather than yours.
Step 01
Tell us about the business
How much, what for, and a few questions about how long you have traded and what comes in each month. No documents to begin with and nothing to pay.
- No application fee
- No documents to start
- No obligation to accept
Step 02
We gather the offers
Your application goes to the lenders in the network most likely to fund a business like yours. What comes back is collected in one place, not scattered across a week of calls.
- A network of 80+ lenders
- One specialist, from start to finish
- Lenders usually price from recent bank statements
Step 03
You choose, then get back to work
Your specialist puts the offers on the same four lines and tells you plainly which one they would take and why. Once you accept and are approved, funding can arrive in as little as 24 hours.
- Offers compared on total payback
- You can decline them all
- Funding in as little as 24 hours once approved
Questions worth asking
Before you apply, and before you sign
Why compare offers at all, if the first one looks fine?
Because the first offer is only fine compared with nothing. Two offers for the same amount can differ a great deal in what they cost in total and in how often they take a payment.
Does applying commit me to anything?
No. You can read every offer that comes back and decline all of them. There is no fee for applying.
What will a lender look at?
Usually how long the business has traded, what it takes in each month, and recent bank statements. A credit report may be part of it; the Terms of Acceptance say exactly what you authorise.
Do you arrange personal loans?
No. First Choice works with businesses only, for business purposes.
The network's figures
The lending network behind the application
These are the figures of the lending network First Choice works through, not claims about First Choice on its own.
The application
Start your comparison
About two minutes: the amount, who to send your offers to, and a few questions about the business. No application fee, and nothing is agreed until you choose an offer.
The application is the way in, and it takes about two minutes.
